Our Kingfishers received a visit earlier this week from PC Winn and PC Day, as they came to talk to the children about what it means to grow up, and the responsibilities associated with becoming teenagers and transitioning to High School.

The children learnt how the police work to keep communities safe, how certain online activities can place them in danger and break the law, and what crimes and anti-social behaviour they may encounter as they get older. They also had the consequences of making bad decisions explained to them and then offered the chance to ask lots of questions. It was a great session and one the children really enjoyed.
